Agree! Honestly, I’ve been looking for decent reviews on harps and lyres forever but yours are actually the ones that have helped me the most. You explain really well and the way you “present your videos” (as they said)… made me feel comfortable and interested in what you had to say about each one. Enough so, that I’ve finally been able to make decisions on what the hell im doing!🤣🤣🤣 Thanks so much! Yer great, girl!

I concur, I've seen 1.5 videos so far, and the first video totally had me going "yep, we'd get along". It's easy to enjoy her explanations.

I think this is the best sounding affordable lyre I’ve heard with metal strings. Lovely! I have the Lynda Lyre from Musicmakers. Mine has nylon strings, and I love it, but it is quite pricey. Thanks for your reviews, Molly!

I would really love to try a Lynda Lyre some time, they look so nice! I hope you're enjoying yours 😊

Your lyre collection is growing almost as fast as your harp collection. There's something about a lyre that's just awesome. They just have a vibe to them. The green finish is nice. It seems like really good value at that price.

Beautiful. I'm left handed too. I play Ukulelee and recently had a stroke and lost usage of my right side including my right hand.

I'm going to give it a try. Ordered and done. Please, please make a video showing how to tune this. I have had nightmares trying to tune another lyre from a different maker. Is it a negative that this one doesn't have a bridge?
@MusicalMollyKhan3 жыл бұрын
I will definitely make a tuning video! It can be really tricky when you're not sure where to start!

How does the solid body lyre compare with a hollow body lyre in terms of the sound?

Hi there, do you think playing lyre is like playing the harp ? For example, right hand melody and left hand accompany, or is it quite difficult ( both of your hands work together like the kalimba ? Thank uou
@MusicalMollyKhan3 жыл бұрын
You can definitely play it either way! Whichever comes easier to you will work, but sometimes your hands can get in each other's way if you use them more "together" like a kalimba 😊

Tuning can be such a challenge! A big help will be to download the app Pano Tuner - it's free and can tell you how far off the note you are. I will definitely be doing a tuning video in the future 😊
