Nice Video. From my personal experience the best you can do is go the route of Professions with a bunch of Alts and farming Dungeons. Fishing and Cocking can be a supplement but at least for fishing the prices will tank after a few weeks because of all the bots, cocking tho can be a really good thing, especially with a few of the more obscure recipes. Flipping the Auction house is an art form if you want to do it right. I done it from Wotlk up until the end of Legion. You need a bunch of add-ons , a good grasp on the market and time and Gold to wait. It can and is extremely lucrative, but like traiding stocks if you don't know what you do your most likely lose more money or your growth is slow. Flipping and Playing the AH is fun, but it's a special kind of fun, if you are the person who likes analysing things and trying to predict the Market and are not afraid of a few hours of dry Reading and setting up your add-ons it my be for you. If not, than dungeon farming and boosting Players gets you your gold faster.

Boosting as a mage will be much slower, and you will not be able to pull all of mara anymore because your blizzard will do one damage per tick to each mob. However, paladins will still be able to mass pull most dungeons that mages previously pulled.

Question @ you Toy, Let's say you wanna setup a lock for tbc, what would you do? Will you opt for tailoring / enchanting? 2 Gathering at first and then your productive professions? I really wanna know your perspective on it.

Yeah I would go gathering first. Unless you already leveled a different profession to max I'd say keep it. Personally for PvP I'd go engineering because it will help a lot in BGs which you'll do a lot of for gear. For PvE tailoring for sure. Probably leatherworking as the other. Then the other profession for PvP besides engineering would be jewelcrafting just because of the JC only recipes and cuz it's new.

If they don't nerf drums, buy leather early and just fill an alt or two or three with the mats. Guaranteed they become the new meta, again, if they aren't buffed. Leather will become the biggest single consumable in the game.

Vendoring leather makes only sense for bots. You will make decent money from light, quite a lot from medium, and rly a lot from heavy, thick and rugged. Especially in TBC a lot of ppl are powerleveling LW for drums. I made most of my gold from selling leather and rep tokens.

I think a lot of people will be leveling in dungeons. So dont vend all of that leather. When those people hit 70 they will pay a lot to power level tier professions.

i mean S1 items don't have rating requirements so people can generally get them on their own pace, as for gladiator let's be honest with how gamers are today we can expect gladiator to be around the 2.6k rating, 2.2k though will yield around 1k arena points so if someone has gold and he's hasty it's reasonable boost to ask for i guess, although probably a very small minority of the player base

I dont get the alchemy part,you dont use a shit ton of consumables in BC thats the GOOD thing actually,flasks dont stack with elixirs , you can basically use only flask + oil + food + potion(1-2times per boss mby) nothing else!And dont forget mage AoE gets nerfed in BC , its not 100% sure they will be good boosters after the nerf

I saw one video on Pallies doing gold farming in I believe LBRS but it didn't go into specifics beyond getting the shield from the Sporereggar. Need more specifics. Many of us want one character as our raiding mains and the other to be our income generator.

Boosting is already addressed so to speak. TBC introduces an AoE cap which spells the end to boosts. Boosting is only going to be profitable until the launch of TBC. This means that boosters will want to make as much money as they can, right now - before it can't be done anymore. Once that happens, everyone will shelve their mages and reroll a Paladin, Hunter or Warlock.

@@d0k0night but a 70 prot paladin (not affected by the aoe cap ) will be even more stronger at boosting than a 60 mage, but i dont have a problem with boosting, its been a thing since 2005
