There are a lot of mistakes to avoid in these main characters' decisions. Agreeing to meet a Craiglist stranger at your own house to give him back his phone at 7:30 pm?? Agreeing to meet him at your house to get back your phone and not willing to pay him, all after he was clear he was expecting the payment, and just winging it just to see how it would go when you know you'd rather just buy a new one?? The story about the old guy who was trying to get you to drink when you were trying to buy a bedframe it's very suspicious. He made the drink when you were not looking so i'm assuming he put something in it. And the bed being in use when it's supposed to be being sold Is also a red flag. I honestly do think that you made the right decision by Not drinking Whatever was in that cup. Even bartenders make sure that you See what is in that drink.
