19 Variable Costing and Analysis Part 2

In this session, we work out examples related to variable costing and absorption costing methods. We compare how the two differ based on the treatment of fixed overhead costs. We also work an example on how to set a target price, whether we should accept a special offer (order) in the service industry, and explain that contribution margin should be the focus on whether to take on one-time (special) orders.
