This style is similar to many of the masterpieces I done back in the day. Back in the 90’s. Some of which I did on myself. I’m a retired old lady now but I still know my stuff. Which is why my niece recently dragged me out of braiding retirement and got me braiding again on her. This video makes me wanna get back into the game on myself! I can do this style on myself easy! But I’m so gray now. I’m a henna my hair and then throw down! And the model is gorgeous! She looks like a young Chaka Khan with braids!

I like how you don't braid their edges by tugging and pulling the hair too tight. You braided them so lightly but uniform and no strays were left out. That's why so many queens are afraid of braids because some braid the hair right off of their heads.

Can you do a video/tutorial on how YOU add the braiding hair!? 🙏🏾🙏🏾PLEASE. I’ve been trying to find different ways to try to add the hair to see what might look neatest for me or what I process seems easier to do but I want to see the way you add it more up close so I can see where the hair should fall and whatnot because I also struggle with the finger placement for braiding going back (I’m a new braider. Barely started learning how to cornrow last year😅) but I can do it if my hands are in the orientation of framing my face but if they are in the orientation like when you were braiding the hair straight back in this video but it’s me braiding my own hair it’s hard for me to do it that way if that makes sense. Sorry it’s long.
