pick 10 (ones you would use the most) and use them all throughout your day. write them in your notes on your phone for a way to go back to them quickly. talk to yourself (sounds weird but it helps) and make up conversations using the handful of words you chose to practice. Do this for a month (or less if you learn quickly) then drop the 5 words you remembered the best and pick another five. This worked well for me. 공부 잘하세요!!!!!

I just watched a TTMIK video clarifying how to use "Please give me". Some of the phrases on this compilation contradict the clarification on the previous video.... or I'm miss understanding the use.....
@marisvendsen
@marisvendsen 5 жыл бұрын
The point of the 주세요 video is to say that Korean doesn't really have a word that translates to "please". However in these phrases the politeness level used in the conjugation of the verbs is polite, so they would translate it to 'please' because that's how you show politeness in English. So the "please" in English is only to translate the politeness level in the sentence, even though there is no word in Korean that literally means "please"

4:02 why do the sentence use 이 instead of 은? Can somebody please explain TT__TT
@apink4life
@apink4life 4 жыл бұрын
This is because you are just referring to the flowers so you use 이, 가. In addition to being the topic particle "은, 는" also has a "nothing but" nuance. If the sentence used the 은 then it would imply "These flowers are so beautiful but everything else is not beautiful." Hope this helps

있어요 has various usages. I think what you saw about 있어요 means 'There is/are ~~(existense)'(~이/가 있어요), or 'be ~ing'(~하고 있어요). In fact, 워요 is the combination of '-우' and '-어요'. In this case, the final consonant ㅂ changes into '-우' to pronounce with ease.
