【Synopsis】Master Fu Qingzhu, a great scholar, was skilled in medicine and was entrusted by his old friend to return to his hometown to treat his friend's wife Su Yanzheng. However, unexpectedly, this was a case against him. Fu Qingzhu treated the illness of the magistrate's wife and Su Yan with a benevolent attitude, sacrificing his own reputation to save his friend and Su Yan. He passed on Fu Qingzhu's housewife to Su Yan and asked her to inherit Chinese medical skills.

A wonderful drama on an historical Doctor. Thank you for teaching us important Chinese history. To be born with such intellect and genius is a burden that does not make one’s personal life easy a lot of the time. To use that power for good instead of competing for status and money - many will understand not at all. Yet his name and reputation is what history remembers not the officials around him. A story to remember.

i agree with you. the film reflects the Chinese fundamental spirit following Confucianism, Taoism. Buddhism, to live righteously, doing good deed,. It's the same teaching in the West and everywhere. The importance is applying what we learnt to better ourselves.

great movie some problemes with the sound in some parts but is enjoyable... the fact that is for a real person that had contributed so much for humanity makes the movie even better .. Superb movie, from start to finish,rarely a film can marry an intelligent script with exhilarating action scenes. Excellent performance from all but the lead actor was outstanding. The real life Fu Shan lived to the age of 80 and he was a brilliant healer.

Really a good movie teach us Taoism as well!! Tang-i- Es-Em can be translated into, Tang era of the Eastern (=600's AD -900's AD) descendants sickness, it must be black flags /Heuk- Sa- PPyung/Soil- Buy- Head/ Bean/ stomach.....disease in Korean & Han Korean interpretation). Clay to farm good origin illness into boiling foods methods including drinking tea rituals to solve this line of illness( Tang- Yak in HK- Nouns). One line became origination of shepherd drinking cows mils to consume meat goods and became wandered(= TTuh-Do- Ree/ vag-a-bond....).
