I was gonna comment the same. Thats why i always enjoy watching fancams from the west. Of course they dont worry too much and so more free to express themselves as its just as it is here. In Korea companies tell idols not to react too much and whatnot because of fans and their stupid shipping wars and tsarting rumours. Also they are aware of fancams. So being careful is must or media might make a big deal out of nothing. Hence why all males and females idols ignore each other, barely any interaction at all. Standing up isnt really a thing in East Asia in general but you have to remember with Korean awards shows majority of the idols have already heard all each others songs a million times. Gosh knows why but these Korean award shows tend to always invite the same groups and soloists to perform the same songs. Which is why they always try to mix it up a bit with a remix or whatever. So they all just end up looking bored sometimes.
