Nice shave Ben! I like my 921-M, right in my wheelhouse of how I like a razor to shave and feel. Have a great weekend!

Glad you like it! Next thing I want to try is the Overlander if I can find one used at a good price. Hope you’re doing well!

@@soapthing yessir! That’s a great idea, hopefully you can find one as they don’t seem to come up for sale all too often, one of those razors that not many don’t like.

Great shave Ben! Thank you for reviewing this razor. Great audio feedback from the blade there too. I don’t have any pricey razors so it’s interesting to see them reviewed. I remember you mentioning all that good stuff about titanium and I have to agree that it does sound awesome. Haverford is great. Have a good weekend!

If you ever find yourself in the market for a titanium razor, this one seems to be the least expensive option. Or close to it.

I guess if have to agree that, for the quality and value you get, the price makes sense. I'm not sure I'll ever get up into that price range because, darn it, I'm just too cheap. Stirling Haverford is mainstay for me, although I do want to try other artisans takes on it. Thanks for the video!

You’re probably better off sticking to less expensive stuff 😂🤣, at the risk of buying an expensive razor and then you just feel dirty and shameful inside. I’ve been there before. Thanks for watching!

Great shave and info! I'm on a hard buying freeze and don't really want anything. However, liked your review of it.

Hoo boy. Maybe I'm just a Cheap Bastard, but for $200+ a razor not only needs to be smooth, comfortable, and efficient, but also needs to wash the laundry, fold the dishes, massage my feet, and tuck me into bed and read me a story that ends in "happily ever after." Imma hafta file that into the "Powerball Wishlist" folder. p.s. Merry Christmas! I'm sorry you have to spend the holidays thousands of miles away from your family, but thank you for your service.

Merry Christmas! Yeah I can imagine it doesn’t fit everyone’s use case. Don’t forget, some people can’t wrap their head around spending $50 on a razor either, which I think is silly but hey, to each their own.

Enjoy your channel .How does the Yates compare with.Pearl Flexi,Karve Overlander or Rocjwell 6 s razors??

I can only compare it to the Rockwell. The other razors I’m unfamiliar with. I would say the Rockwell is smoother and more forgiving. That doesn’t make the Yates bad, it’s just a different experience.

What makes it more forgiving? The ability to use different plates or something else?
@soapthing
@soapthing 9 ай бұрын
@@Mmike3680 No it’s not about the plates. The cap and guard geometry is just more easy going on your face, at least for me. It’s not something that can be quantified, it’s just how it’s built. The way the blade is presented to your face relative to the shape and texture of the cap and guard makes a lot of difference.

Another top video, Ben. You make a very good case for the Yates Ti razor, that’s for sure. You may not know, but how does it compare to the EJ 3One6 (which is currently my favoured razor )? Mind you, my favoured razor changes every couple of weeks! Cheers. 👍🪒

I couldn’t tell you. Never tried that razor. It’s like a Merkur 34C on steroids. A logical next step in terms of blade feel and efficiency.
