1920 Antique Motorcycle Hill Climber Tribute | Board Track Racer Replica

I built this hill climber tribute for a customer who uses it as a pit bike at Baja races and car shows. I clear coated over the raw frame to make the patina pop and used black and gold accents to really make the build stand out. The gearing was super low with a huge rear sprocket and over-all a blast to build and ride before it shipped out to California.

cool bike. i would love to know about this build ? did you braze the frame ? what tires,rims did you use? how are the gears mounted to the hun ?

The frame is a sportsman Flyer. He uses Worksman frames and modified them using by brazing into lugs. The wheels are 24” heavy duty bicycle wheels (11ga spokes) and meaty mountain bike tires. The sprocket is mounted using a sportsman Flyer sprocket hub mount and a 56t sprocket for low gearing.

11g preferred but I believe I had to go with 12g on this one because I had to use 24” wheels
