I had these no grades when I was young. Complete gundam wings including the Endless Waltz kits. I lost these due to floods 😭. But if I get these again, this will require a lot of mods to make it awesome

I just picked up the Vayaete, and damn is it a turkey compared to modern kits. But also I'll be damned if it didn't take me back to 2000, watching Wing as a kid on Toonami.

I got these back in 1995. Last year I was sorting and reorganizing my kit boxes, took them out to admire and tried to pose them. The onr of the blue one's leg joints crumbled and snapped. On the red one, the peg for one of the back attachments broke. Had to use some toothpicks and glue for repair. Bandai needs to make HG of them...

a good way to fix up these two kits is to combine them with the HG Leo. also I would love to see more reviews of old kits. the 1/100 and 1/60th scale kits from the 90's were actually really good.

I know you said in an earlier vid that you probably wouldn't review Diver Ayame because of the skirt, but some of the new photos seem to show it's actually 2 hinged pieces, with the obvious split in the front where they overlap and another one on the right rear. It might still be soft plastic though, will have to actually buy the kit to see.

We just recently got the first updated Hamma Hamma since 1986 so there may be hope for these 2. I'm still hoping for a new Agguguy and Agg because I just love those wierd designs.

Honestly I want Mercurius, Vayeate, n Taurus to be remake to HGAC series (and Epyon, duh). But maybe its too much, maybe they just planned Leo only be the Grunt unit to accompany Wing & Zero. At best I think just buy these NG then mod the Leo or at least Tallgeese III from HG EW

The old school 1/100 kits from the early 80s of the classic Gundam and enemy suits are kind of neat. Painted up, they would likely match the original animations more closely than new kits do.

Problem is most of us """modern""" gunpla fans prefer our kits to look as cool as possible with extra attention to realism rather than their anime look, so modern kits are more targeted towards our taste. Not that I think simpler more true to the show builds are not beautiful, but that's just not my style. Guess millennials killed anime accuracy too.

The old HG EW kits aren't much better than these, so I personally wouldn't recommend them. I actually have the HG Wing Zero, and it's not great.

Yea...the old 1/144 wing kits were pretty bad when compared to most old kits.

@@vivisect53 On the other hand they have polycap joints and pretty good articulation and detail. Much better than most of the 1980 kits, just not too good compared to recent Gundam kits. There are seam lines everywhere you have to fix, but that's true of most older Gunpla.
