The new float I ordered wasn't right so I modified it to make it work. This is a Holley 295 Vaporizer on a 1924 Fordson F tractor. Hand crank, startup, carburetor, vaporizer.

Yet another great video. I'm glad you got that "new" float modified to work on the old Fordson. These old tractors are simply great....love to see and hear them run and drive.

I'm studying up. Thanks for all these in-depth videos.

My pleasure Ozzie. I can also rebuild the old Fordson F ignition coils. If you need help with yours let me know.

@@AntiqueCarsandStuff I sure might. I'm trying to figure out If I can bypass them temporarily or how and why you incorporate the battery. I've been through quite a few 40s and 50s tractors but these old ones got their own anatomy. I'm realizing you and Shopdog Sam have quite a few more in-depth videos than I realized on these things, and the answers are out there. I've never had T or an A either. I suppose a lot of the electrical is the same. Your Fordson videos that I've watched so far have really given me the itch though! Really grateful for your channel!

they really put big fuel tanks on those things compared to like an 8n or an f20, i like these simple videos, not talking for 5 minutes just doing stuff.

Yes, the fuel tanks were about twice the capacity at around 20-21 gallons.

If they only made them that well to day. How much cheaper it would be.
