What's everyone's favorite part of Berlin Noir so far?
@BabaTova2 жыл бұрын
To be honest, and probably underwhelming, I'm a sucker for regular streets, just good old building blocks, nothing special, the thought of walking those street, feeling the city for what it is. Which looks incredible in Berlin Noir

the stations and yards for sure.

Im really impressed with your work! Its cool to see a version of berlin that got lost ressurected. I Also love how you mix the beautifull parts with the ugly and realistic parts. It makes the city more lively

I'm really enjoying the series and the extensive build you completed so far. Really amazing how far you got...and how long this has been going. I like the idea of upgrading the city center sooner than later, just to get it up to quality. I also think you should continue building out this way, I can just imagine how the city would look if everything from the City Center to the sunken garden was filled in. Even though the industrial builds seem to not be watched as much, I certainly like them the most, along with the train yards and stations, just because heavy industry and rail it is such an important factor in this time. I don't know where exactly they are located, but some large factories would be cool to see and would probably help the city gameplay-wise...and in my experience a good way to fill in large areas relatively quickly ;) . Anyway, I am going to stick around and watch how Berlin develops from here. To another 45 episodes!

I really like YOUR version of the zoo no matter where you built it. ... A few ideas: 1. the Luna Park amusement park (at the end of the Kudamm), 2. Kulturbrauerei in Prenzlauerberg (Berlin had many breweries and these are very interesting industrial buildings), 3. Strandbad Wannsee (public bathing establishment, could also be built more in the center...) ... read the german wikipedia about all of them (if nessessary use browser translation, or ask your germans) I enjoy your series very much, and how much fun you have with it.

Would love to see a football stadium. Poststadion I think was the main stadium in Berlin at this time and it had just been opened. Near Lehrter Bahnhof. Also just in general would love to see some more building in the former east, especially around the elevated U2 line in Prenzlauer Berg

Looking at the aerial view I never realized it was a sizeable stadium. But that would definitely be a cool build. And I'm not really sure why I haven't built much in the east. But I've built some stuff pretty close to Prenzlauer Berg so I'll get around to it eventually.

Could you build the Berlin which Albert speer had planned? With the „Große Halle“ That would be massive….

Thanks a lot for sharing your Berlin Noir project. May I ask why don't you just scale it like in real from 1928. Does the game not allow enough space? Cheers
@thePhoenicianCS2 жыл бұрын
The series started out as a Berlin inspired city since I wasn't aware of the 1928 aerial view at the time. So once I decided to make it an accurate recreation of Berlin I had already built a good amount not to scale so it was too late to start over and make it to scale
@andylee78622 жыл бұрын
@@thePhoenicianCS thx for your response. Very unfortunate. To start the project all over in real 1928 scale would be too much work, wouldn't it...
