After the murder of her father at the hands of her mother Clytemnestra and her lover Aegisthus, Electra is consumed by the desire for revenge.
He protects his young brother Orestes, hiding him far away, so that he can grow up and return to claim the throne of Argos. Accompanied by the narration of the great tragedians Aeschylus, Sophocles and Euripides, we follow the intricate events of these characters, their fight for justice and the profound moral dilemmas that overwhelm them.

Oreste e un personaggio secondario dell'Iliade meraviglioso secondo me. Ragazzo impossibilitato a vivere con letizia la sua adolescenza perché figlio di re e obbligato dal fato a commettere un omicidio terribile. Ed è qui che Oreste diviene personaggio tragico. Deve farlo! Deve vendicare Agamennone, suo padre, anche se questo lo maledirà agli occhi degli dèi perché così facendo ucciderà sua madre, assassina di Agamennone. Che fare? Vendicare e così compiere il proprio destino funesto che sua sorella e le circostanze degli eventi hanno creato per lui o passare il resto della sua vita da fuggitivo, divenendo così un paria agli occhi della società in cui vive? Meraviglioso ❤️
