1930 McCormick-Deering № 7 sickle bar mower

Since 1948 this agricultural implement sat unused in a field. A month ago my wife and I decided to determine if we could resurrect it. Today we met with success. It was designed to be pulled by a two-horse team, but our tractor manages to tow it just fine. Manufactured by the International Harvester Company, it is ruggedly built. We plan to mow our weeds with it in order to comply with a local ordinance governing brush fire prevention. Duration of this video is two minutes.
