Thanks so much sir !.....Especially great to see the clip with Helen Rowland, have been a fan of hers for many years, only recently have seen any sort of scant biography. Thanks again !

Oh How I Miss You Tonight, Baby Face were favorites of an elderly Uncle Ysidro. Being an only grandhild and niece for ten yrs I was of course spoiled but i a good way. I can still remember my uncle coming home from work, picking me up and swirling me around the floor and singing Baby Face. Usually followed by him saying Lets go get an ice cream, but don't tell we spoiled our appetites. Good music classical or pop renews great old memories for this 81yr. old. Thank you for lessons of the past. Don't mean to take up your time but you and my sister are about the same age and sometimes I remind her that we born a 9:45 t the right time . Old emough to know people fro just before the turn of te century and music of their day. Can still remember my english limited Grandmother singing Casy Would Waltz With A Srawberry Blond. Used to wonder was she carrying them in a basket or in her hair. If you ever find music for A Rose In Her Hair might consider recording it. Reminds me of Dad and Mom and the photo of her with a rose in her hair.

Bravo Peter Mintun. This is the only film clip (to my knowledge) of Helen Rowland (nee Helen Rubin later known as Helene Daniels). The clip is too brief but fascinating nonetheless. And Martha Ray(e) in 1933 .... that's the earliest clip I have seen.
