Ha I loved it when Juan talked about his 4 year old daughter calling his Car The Pink Impala 😂 The World needs more Great Teachers Like Juan I can tell he is Greatly Appreciated by His Family And Students .

We need more people in this world like Juan. My respects to you homie. I like when he said that you can be successful and still live in the neighborhood so obviously his neighborhood means a lot to him. Keep doing an awesome job

Great story!! I to am from the same neighborhood and was born and raised there so I sometimes see this beautiful car here and there. Beautiful build. While parents are tasked with raising their children, the teachers are tasked with helping them function in a world where they can dream and become successful. My utmost respect to this young man and may God bless him and his family always.

I understand. That's why I live in the community I grew up in. And I could live anywhere I want. But it's important for the kids to see a positive role model.

First off, I have no idea how this video could have any thumbs down responses. As a black man, I have always been a fan and participant of the Lowrider community. I used to hang out on Crenshaw when I was stationed in California. I really loved watching this video man. Very inspirational and great to see that you are helping the community. Keep up the great work and hopefully I can feature your club in our upcoming magazine.

Seeing a lot of the people featured being teachers, it helps me realize that I want to be like my welding teacher who gave up structural welding to become a high school welding teacher and I have taught his adults I have taught at his summer camp and I am a TA for him and I love it to bits.

What some people do not understand is that being an educator especially in the 60's and 70's was like contract work, there were three months when you did not work. (Summer Vacation for the kids) You would have to earn a living doing something else during that time. Summer school teaching jobs were given to the educators according to their seniority. The pay is not the greatest either. Lowriding projects are a very expensive hobby to a married household. You managed to overcome that. Your life story is great and your attitude towards staying put and maintaining your identity is also commendable but I wonder brother if that action closed any doors for greater opportunities for you. There are different versions of reality I suppose. Thanks for sharing.
