Using heavy machinery to remove a rare 1937 Pierce Arrow trailer from a hunting cabin that was built around it.
Pierce Arrow built roughly 450 campers from 1937-38 as a last ditch effort to save their foundering company.
It is estimated that only 40 or so remain in existence, under 20 of this largest "Model A" size, featured here.
This particular unit was part of a camp since the 1960's, which preserved much of its original features.
Despite missing some chassis components and having a section of wall missing, this unit is incredibly in tact and in very good condition for 85 years old!
This is a rare and special trailer. Great care was afforded to preserve its condition.
