The forests are so thick and beautiful. So amazing to see them pre clear cuts.

Seeing my late grandpa in this video during the Allan Cup celebration was really special. Thanks for putting this together.

I love this type of stuff. I would love to experience the 1900's, that was the most prominent shift from technology to culture, to advances in medicine. It was also an uncertain time with WW1, 1918 flu pandemic the great depression, WWII, the 50's then the 60's with counter culture and free expression. Its fantastic to witness it, thanks to people like you. It's interesting to see how much things have shifted over the last 100+ years.

Between 11:55 and 12:28 on the Doug Kermode reel: The woman in the blue sweater is, I believe , Hilma Foote, who formed and led the Mackintosh Girls Pipe Band together with her Dad, Horace Foote, who may the man holding the box. The other woman may be Mrs. Foote.

Could the snow footage be at the Mica Dam project near Revelstoke? A family friend who worked there said the snow was unbelievable!

Where was the footage from 12:58 - 13:08 shot? I can’t get my bearings as the lower part of the buildings is obscured and I’m assuming the highway sign is directing traffic to an earlier alignment of Highway 6.

Okay, now that I can view the video on my laptop, I can make out the Okanagan Electric sign in the distance. But I'm still confused about what building the bus is parked next to. It doesn't seem to be the Allison Hotel and while the arches are like those of the old post office, the building doesn't appear tall enough to be that.
