1938 Packard Super 8 engine rebuild (part 1)

Beginning the process of reassembly after complete tear-down and rebuilding. The engine had somehow overheated and cracked the block in several places. Lot's work and time later, we are finally ready to reassemble.
I'm an amateur and will be rebuilding this under the guidance of a very experienced mechanic.

How many trains go through elensburg on a daily basis?

It kind of depends on the time of year. I'd say probably around 9-12 on average. All Eastbound and all empty. Schedule is somewhat flexible but around every two hours on a steady day. A year ago they were running Eastbound manifests with no excess height cars. Those were fun to see.
