We were on that same cruise. I’m almost positive you were standing right beside me when we were leaving Coco Cay. I think that’s my hand on the railing at 21:30 as you pan to the right.

Hi! 👋 That's awesome. What a great week it was. Stay tuned for the next two vids on the ship and ports of call. I like to include a lot of crowd shots so people can randomly spot themselves. Thanks for commenting! 🛳️

I tried to see myself at the balloon drop. My wife and I were at the railing of the Schooner bar but I couldn’t quite make us out. Nice video!

Also, I can hear my wife and son talking when the caption pops up about leaving for St. Thomas. My son said you helped them get behind the loungers to get a better view.

Oh now I remember you guys...they were standing behind the glass partition on your right prior. Yes, that was definitely us right there on that shot. 👍 Some footage is from other family so there are different perspectives of the same moment.

@@ThatGuyJunJun that’s correct! We also flew from Charlotte but that’s because that’s because it’s our home airport though we flew to Fort Lauderdale.

Thanks again for sharing your adventure with us. It looks like you could be on the ship for weeks and not do everything there is to do. Since your rooms overlooked the boardwalk, I have to ask - did they have "quiet time" after a certain point at night, or were things happening 24/7?
@ThatGuyJunJun15 күн бұрын
@@MicheleF.-xt4mp Yes there is no way to experience everything because activities and events are scheduled at the same time...so you have to choose. It's how they manage the crowds so 6000+ people aren't moving from place to another. Also, cruises are actually exhausting...walking everywhere on and off the ship. A lot of people enjoying picking a venue, have a coffee and people watch. The Promenade is the main spot for that. So there is no way to see and do everything except the main shows which you reserve. I don't know the exact time the official Boardwalk activities shut down but there is food and drink there up until midnight. The arcade is always open I think. 👍

@@ThatGuyJunJun I haven't done a cruise but my brother and his family have done a couple. Not sure which ships, but they weren't nearly as big as Symphony. Still, they were tired from all the walking, etc. They want to do an Alaskan cruise someday, so I sent them the links to the videos of your brother's cruise that you posted. I'm glad there is at least a bit of quiet time, though some would probably say you can sleep when you get home lol.

@@MicheleF.-xt4mp My family has had this debate and we've actually enjoyed the smaller ships overall...like the Alaska Cruise my brother went on. Smaller being relative because they are all massive 😄
@MicheleF.-xt4mp13 күн бұрын
@@ThatGuyJunJun Yeah, that ship your brother was on didn't look small, but relatively speaking, it probably feels like it was lol. The shot (I think it's in the other video) where you had the ships all lined up gave a good idea of just how massive Symphony is 👍.
