I had NO idea that our comments helped .. so sorry! I will be doing that going forward!! I’ve been so busy that I haven’t even watched your last 3 or 4 videos 😢. However, I will admit that with a lil creativity, ( late late at night 🤫) I’ve found time for some self- indulgent binge watching of your past videos.. I can’t believe how much I learn from every one of them! I hope you know how much we appreciate you 😍! You are so patient and informative.. and trust me when I tell you, that will come in handy with a daughter😂. I survived raising a couple of them, myself. These trying years are SOOOO worth the rewards you will receive in the long run! Just to name a couple... Beautiful grandbabies and a best friend that will forever have your back !! My only advice ( Lucas too) … finding the balance of keeping the lines of communication open, while still being a parent. Heads up, you may hear things that you could’ve gone your ENTIRE life without knowing.. but, Your “not so sweet all the time” Angels will realize ( at some point) how incredibly blessed they are that they can share anything with their Mama . You Will go on to cherish one another in the way that God intended! MUAH!

Hi Kanella, lock down in New Zealand is no less frustrating than with you in Canada. I don't have any kids but l do have a schnauzer, she is desperate to get out but I'm happy to stay at home and watch your videos. I started painting after a bereavement to help me express my grief.mine are no ware as beautiful as yours but I'm getting there. I love your tutorials your chats and your enthusiasm. The color combo is pretty, I can see Arteza Bordeaux red( not a lot) in place of the Blue Violet as well. Fun video. I have a 13 year old 12 pound Shih Tzu that gets over a $100 a month in a raw food diet. He has through the years enjoyed every toy on the Market, has two beds and a car seat so he can see out. He also has two coats made by an actual seamstress.....adorable. We love our fur babies! Spoiled much 😍

Kanella, hang in there. My daughter was 10, in 4th grade, and we butted heads like no other...... it happens. She has become the most beautiful soul and our relationship is priceless and strong. From an outsider, she told me that my daughter was one of the smartest most beautiful young lady she had known. Be strong and patient.

Wow 🤩!! Looks great😍👍❤️!! I love the purple with all those metallics😍👍!! I think it pops nicer on the white then on the black (don’t get me wrong, I still like the black😊👍)!! I’m pretty proud of my 16 year old son😍👍👏, he has been really good at taking part in the online and FaceTime classes his teachers are giving!! I don’t have to remind him, he does it on his own, and he hasn’t been late for the classes yet😀👍👏!! Try not to stress too much about your 7 year old daughter not wanting to do homework 📚, I think she’ll be I okay 👌😊👍!! Not only that you can try to continue a bit over the summer to keep it fresh in her mind, so she’ll be good come September😊👍. Happy painting, and stay calm😊👍🤗🤗!!

I'm a retired teacher and I love to hear parents being tested! Parents are appreciating teachers a bit more. If she's just 7...I wish you well. It get better when they are about 19-21. It's amazing how much smarter we get by then! I taught science and remedial math for grades 7-12! I loved it, but it just tried me! Hint hint : find your daughter's "hot button" then work it with her! Okay painting... Okay blowing over the sides is a waste....you're right! I just tried some pigment samples. Colors are great. I'm not sure it's worth the powder mess ! This is lovely! I have a tough time with th hairdryer! I can't mouth breathe it cause of COPD. I know I keep trying to make it work! You're right...I overdo it and it gets a bit muddy in spots. Oh well, I will just keep enjoying you gorgeous work! It would not have been anything without the purple!

Hey Kanella ! What I did with my kids , long age , I told them if they didn't do their homework then they would have to stay in the same grade and their friends would be in a grade ahead of them and they won't want to play with little kids. Lol kinda worked for me.

Beautiful! About school, this is a stressful time for kids and parents, don’t underestimate the concerns children have which is usually expressed as contrariness. As an educator for 50 plus years, I’d like to suggest that you make it a kind and gentle experience for your kids. Give them the parameters of the day and then let them decide what they will get done.....don’t insist, don’t prod, don’t get into battles. Their teachers will recap the rest of this year and make sure they get the experiences they need. In the coming year. In the meantime be gentle with both your kids and yourself. How often do you have a chance to spend some real time with your kids.? Make some art( no massive book of rules), act out a favorite. Book, do some singing, dancing, movement of any kind. Go for walks, talk about life, what things are good, which are difficult...anyway, this should be a gentle time a time to reconnect. Good luck. ❤️
