This one has been hanging up in the garage for a while, so given the current need to sell bikes I thought I'd build it up finally with parts I had spare. Not too shabby really!

Gorgeous! 80 years old. Such a modern design. I would like to get myself one, someday. I agree about the handlebars. You could a couple of different ways with this bike. I'm not sure either. Perhaps just flip the handlebars upright and put on different grips. Beautiful, :) .

You've done a fabulous job on the 80-year old classic! As I had just watched Jay Leno's video about Johnny Carson's 1939 Chrysler Royale, I'm on an 80-year old vehicle theme this morning. Yours is a much more accessible, and more appropriate transportation solution. Well done! From Canada.

Your builds of very old bikes are valuable because you go into such detail and take great care. If an old bike has too many scratches, I have no problem with media blasting and respray. However, I've found powder coating preserves the history embedded in the metal. Unless you cover it with putty, the coating maps the bike's history.
