1941 Indian Chief Alive After 30 Years in Pieces - 1941 Barn Find Chief Build

This Chief was taken apart around 1984 and sat in pieces for the last 30 years. The motor was built in 1986 and never run. Over 5 months, Indian John and I took everything else apart and put it back together. She started in 2 kicks! The adrenaline rush was amazing after working for all these months. It could not have been done with out the knowledge and patience of John teaching me the finer points of Indian restoration - Thank you, the knowledge and memories are priceless.
It looks like it was originally a Sammy Pierce bike with an AIMCO stamp on the motor and it was bought in California around that timeframe.
Duane Sheridan rode the heck out of this bike. I'm trying to keep the history alive. If you have any pictures of Duane or the bike, please email them to me so his memory can live on.

Great job, GOD BLESS YOU ALL. I just fired up a 4 year project, a Hurricane/flood survivor that I had to machine a PULLER to get the cylinders off the rusted pistons. It took 2 weeks of PATIENCE to not break anything but you know it was worth it. So my hats off to you, for your patience and commitment to restoring this AWESOME piece of AMERICA.

I put together a 2003 Chief from bolt to bolt and tin piece to skirt. It's amazing when you get the first start up. I can even imagine what you were feeling like with that old beauty. A dream build for many of us, I'm sure! Awesome, Awesome video. Thanks for sharing!
