Beautiful work! I have two 5hp L tractors and they are a lot of fun to tinker with. They both have a spin on oil filter conversion. Most tractors I've seen with this conversion are plumbed for a full flow filter setup, but I opted to re work them to the original bypass filter setup since they both have the low volume oil pump.

Beautiful job! I just picked up a 52 yesterday and it looks like it came out of a time capsul. Wooden grips and all. I'd like to attempt the same process with mine. Thanks for the insight.
