This is my 1947 Harley-Davidson Servi-car. It's been customized with electric start and a few other things, like turn signals and a hand parking break.

64 and later had e start.... yeah, I have one... disk wheels started in '51 with juice rear brakes, both really good upgrades. 1973...the last servicar, is correct! THe last HD hard tail! Wow, you have a speedo! Running off the rear drive? Just need a different speedo with the right ratio (ie older). Nice bike!

I just bought the Linkert M88 for mine, replacing the toilettson, could you show me your fuel inlet fitting with the air filter cover off? Also, I made a bracket that connects the butt end of the starter to the frame which will relieve the stress that otherwise will loosen and/or strip the tranny-top bolts, or crack the flange.

I run an M88 on my servicar. They used to be cheap and plentiful. Plumbing fixtures is my best description. I am pure kick start, not that hard.
