1948 Ford F-1 door rebuild

Here are the steps I recorded
Remove door handle
Remove door regulator, repair rattle
Install the following components in this order
Door latch regulator
Window regulator
Window lift channel
Window
Access panel with sound deadening
Anti rattle strips

Actually, the window does fit in through the door access hole. Much easier than fitting it through the top!

So was the purpose of drilling the wing window screw holes because you used a new frame? Or do the old holes in the frame not line up with the old holes in the door with the new rubber?

Glas goes in up through hole in door.

Have you done a door rebuild? I'm getting ready to. Replacing vent windows and door glass. I'm doing the doors while their on the truck. Seems better for me. My question. While the vent window is out can I just drop the new window in from the top and just leave it sit on the bottom of the door while I put in the vent window and then with the divider attached just at the top put the glass into the tracks , slide it up and attach it to the regular and then adjust and attach the bottom of the divider? Just seen this video. Not a lot of info out there. I've just been giving it some thought. Thanks
