I had never heard of these cars, and I just found one of the biggest stashes/collections of them. They’re super cool!

@@kfclub - I've owned my '47 Frazer for nearly 30 years. Longer than most have owned anything on four wheels or two. I was just a teenager when I bought it and nobody except my dad and a few old timers, knew what the car was. Lol. I think it's good, that people are rediscovering K-F vehicles; it's long overdue.

@@MrRJDB1969 but the continental/jeep engine ( family has a 2006 JK/TJ rubicon unlimited jeep similar bad habits as the 1950's/OHV engine used for kaiser's and look's to be the same castings or minorly modified/changed and wouldn't surprise me if parts can bolt on to both platforms 50 years a part. and the 48 flat head used before looks similar to the 50's OHV model engine so some minor modifications and it might interchangeably-?? ) let's the brand down sadly gramps had a 1948 and a 1953* both were junkyard'ed out back as a kid-now in 2022 both with a blown head gasket and or cracked block and happen before 1955 and both were mint otherwise after that the family got all ford's or at least into 1990 im a 1960's dodge owner 2012-now

My father's first car was a 1947 Kaiser. Many road trips made in that car and a lot of fond memories. In 1957, one of the axle shafts broke and couldn't find a replacement, so it went to the graveyard.

I’ve had a 53 Manhattan for years. It’s not on the road yet but slowly getting closer. Thanks for the work on the Channel. I hope it gains some interest. These were very well built cars and they don’t seem to get their due.

@@kfclub I will join when I become serious about getting it ready for the road. It’s stored in a dry garage in a dry climate for now. It’s not first in line to get on the road but not too far off because its a good solid running car already.

There’s a KZbinr from Edmonton who daily’s his 49 frazer during the summer. His KZbin channel is Coldwarmotors. Check it out. You can look back several years when he went over the car mechanically.
