One should stick to OEM recommended ones. If you still want to downsize, I would recommend 205/65 R16.

I recently purchased a stepney tyre with 195/55 R16 for Tata Nexon. Although tyre which came with car are of size 195/60 R16. In case I need my stepney does this tyre will have any imapact. Is there any safety concerns only one tyre of other size. Please advice so that I can change it without any safety compromise.

As you said you are using 195/55r16 in Stepney which comes hardly to use when all tyres are new and other tyres are of 195/60r16. So regarding safety you can use 195/55r16 in stepney . There won't be any impact such and it is safe to use. Tyre Expert Advice
