The Bobby Dillion story is the most pre-60s story about an NFL player I'd ever heard of. Best safety in the NFL. Only has one eye.

The 1950s Packers were known as the "Siberia" decade. Curly Lambeau resigns as head coach on February 1, 1950 due to differences between the front office and the executive committee. The Rockwood Lodge burned due to faulty wiring. The team had a stock sale following the razing of the Rockwood Lodge, raising more than $200,000. The team had just two .500 seasons and had the ugliest season in 1958 at 1-10-1.

Nebraska has great college football!!! But yes, I’m from GB and if your not a Packer fan you can’t live here. lol !!! It’s a great fam city also !!! Just in case you wanted to move here …… ( kinda expensive prices for homes tho )
