I remember a kid in high school had a 1950 Ford two door coupe. He chopped and sectioned it. I was twelve years old. He wrecked it. I am 76 years old. I still remember that car.

Looking good Rick. Would a couple washers or shims under the bottom two hinge bolts on top and bottom hinges lift the door a little to take stress off the strike?

Rick, I'll respectfully ask this question: I've done this on a 57 Chevy to help with the door gaps at the front fender/door latch side. Don't know about a "shoebox" so, is there a body mount that can be shimmed close by the A-pillar that could help with raising that door a tiny bit?? Sometimes body shims can be used when other adjustments simply don't work. ????

Yes the front mount does change the gap on these cars. But in this case it only would have made it worse. Good response if I remember I will mention this in next video

Iv done a couple of them stationary hinges and the only thing you can do is cut the door hinge down where the pin is and then shim it with small washers, works every time….

Yes I have done this trick too. But I always try just factory first and half the time they work .

Rick, do you find that loading the long tudor doors with the glass and hardware makes them sag a little more?

I believe any door sags a bit when loaded this is why sometimes I will set door a little higher knowing it's gonna settle with weight of glass

I see you have replacement floor supports for your Tudor; where did you buy them? I’m here in Saskatoon Saskatchewan and shipping from the US is horrendous. Also, where did you get your door pins?

Door pins I got at my local hot rod shop. Along with floors which came from a company called Ems they only ship within usa
