Insanely helpful series. About to start my '50 and this is exactly what I needed. Thank you for going above and beyond for us viewers.

it is not boring at all. You do the best job of explaining and a lot of guys leave a lot out. So thanks. I appreciate the advice and things to look out for.

I move rear end foward to close gap between bed and cab.eliminates need to add to front of bed and moves running board foward to stock location making it meet front fender . It only requires redrilling spring pad locating hole.its taken apart to add drop block anyway.makes for less work and looks stock.

I've got a 51 GMC I plan on putting on a 93 S10 frame. It'll be a little tough doing it by myself. Especially since I don't have a bobcat, rollback, or even a shop lol. I'll get it done though. I can't wait to see your truck done because you've mounted the body at the same height from the frame as I've planned on. Good work fellas. New sub.

Thanks for the compliment. If you can get 4 guys together you could move that cab from one frame to another with no equipment necessary. Stripped down with no glass they’re not so heavy. Also the doors remove easily, making it even lighter. Next video coming soon…..

Not boring at all , pretty interesting . I got a '50 Dodge coupe , I broke the camshaft w/ ether and it's been sitting in the garage for years (I always cringe when I see people use it) . There's a yard near me w/ some 318 mopars w/ trans. that I'd like to swap into it .

Thanks for the great detailed video. I have a rusty 55’ Studebaker Commander coupe and was thinking I might be better off with a S10 frame and the more modern components. Just doing my research now. Where do you source your parts from?
@gordonsmart Жыл бұрын
We use a variety of sources including speedway motors, jegs, Amazon, eBay, and a few local vendors The S10 works out well because it’s widely available, no problem getting suspension parts and very durable Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.

How much did you take off the front at the steering box
@gordonsmart Жыл бұрын
If you’re referring to how much frame I took off I’m not sure in inches. Basically have to cut it right up to the gearbox. It still leaves plenty of steel around the gearbox mounting holes
