Remember coming here as a kid with my mom and yes when we were eating the place caught on fire we had to get out and now looking at it again just makes me cry that place had good food

From all the stories I’ve heard. Locals in the town said it had the best food ever, and they wouldn’t trade it out for any other. However in 2003 they shutdown due to multiple health violations with food. They was forced to closed down in the middle of the day and forced everyone out. The building then had no one taking care of it so Mother Nature took its toll, as for the fire I have no clue about that.

Looks like a fire started as people were eating in the diner, by the way the tables had dishes still on them. The owner probably had no insurance. Sad to see no one there cared enough to keep that part of their history alive...😢

Looks to be about capacity at maybe 28 to 40 ppl .... looked like 4 booths plus maybe another one there.... n a table and about 12 stools? At first I thought just 4 booths n 8 stools but there’s more. I wonder when this was built cuz the prices are very high. Not from the old days. When I went out to eat in the 80’s n 90’s it was 3.00 to 6.00 for a large meal. Fast food was less than 2.00 for a burger Actually we could get burgers for .39 cents then .50 cents or a dollar at some fast food places. When fast food was first opened they were just about giving away the food. One commercial of a fast food place said a whole meal for under a dollar, I think in the late 70’s Those prices look like today’s highly inflated prices. I wonder when this was opened n why they would have a fire in the roof? Really cute. Too bad it burnt.
