1950s HOME MOVIE VALDEZ TO SEWARD TO ANCHORAGE, ALASKA CRUISE 44604

This well made, 1950s silent amateur film / home movie looks at sights on a cruise from Valdez to Seward and finally to Anchorage, Alaska. It begins with sights in Valdez itself, followed by the mainly natural sights along the way. It also shows residents, mainly the owner /operators of museums or touristic spots, including Alaska Nellie. Although the ship the family that made this movie sailed on is not mentioned, it's safe to assume it was a vessel operated by the Alaska Steamship Co., as the SS Aleutian is shown (sold in 1956 -- so the film must pre-date that year). The ship the family sailed on may have been the SS Alaska, SS Tonsina or another vessel.
