Its It's good to see buses of this era preserved and working. I wonder if anyone restored my favourite. The SHMD Daimler double deckers of the 1940's?

I was born at 1, Eva Road, Cheadle Heath, Stockport, in April, 1947, nearly 77 years ago and rode on this bus and the other Crossley's numerous times during my childhood. I did so love them and the distinct sound of their engines.

This is the bus that is supposedly haunted by the lost spirit of a little boy it knocked down and killed in Reddish in the mid 1950s.
