I should have sanded my hood down, but the guys painted my truck already so I guess I won't. I did find the original data plate in the glove box.

Minus the nose picking, great video. Is there some sort of registry that says where vehicles were in the world, or just where units were?

@@WatsonsWagons All the records were destroyed, they only kept them so long. I have a 1952 M37 and it had been in the Army, the Army Corps of Engineers and then MA federal fire. The only thing I have is where it last served because it was a note in the paperwork someone happened to keep. I have the data plate too, turns out mine was a command M42, you can see it had three antenna mounts and the cables would go through the back of the cab. But there is no way to know if it ever went anywhere, G741.org is a good resource.
