Please please don't retire! I love listening and watching your shows. I love how you've combined the old-time music in the background. I often watch on the side while working, it's calming and interesting too. Your KZbin is one of kind, there is no one else like you out there!

Don't retire, watching you build and binder the 1952 Topps set is my favorite thing on KZbin. When you finish this build, you should just start again for a third time!

I’m in the same situation. I’m building the 1952 set, and every time I ask myself what’s next, the answer is always 1952 again. It’s the best set ever made.

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE KZbin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We need the rare guys like you that dont have pelican cases full of PSA10 Rookie Of The Minutes but instead LOVE the cards even if its a beat up Mantle or a 1952 Topps El bencho. Also if you retire who will give me my EL BENCHO Fix????!!!!

I hope u don’t retire cuz I love watching ur videos on ur channel. How many people u have helped like what penny sleeves to buy for their cards or inspire people to set build or get back into collecting cards again. I’m sure I’m not the only one who watches ur video from beginning to end. Most baseball card videos I can’t really get into and stop midway or fast forward to the middle or end but not urs.

@@geezmikey it was at one point but I had to sell it for different reasons like pay off my bills before I moved. I restarted my collection but sold it so I could pay off credit card bills and have money to get my son a new car to go to college. Restarted it again but sold it to a card shop which I think I got taken for. Sold it for $200 cuz I had no money in Las Vegas to get back home. But I’m slowly trying to get back this time and this time I’m not gonna sell. If u wanna help with my collection u can lol

Amazing that you'll have a 52 set. That's an achievement! I understand the retirement (and I'm pretty new on KZbin lol) it's a grind. So much time. Love the channel and seeing a true collector. 👍

oh my dude, it takes lots and lots of patience to be a youtuber trust me, ive been on this thing since 2018. its fun, very time consuming and you have to stay consistent or you can forget about it.

The 1952 set is arguably the most iconic set of the post-war era. Sweet Cardinals hat - in my mind that is for Sonny Gray, lol. That is my guy! Bro, I hope you decide against retiring from KZbin. This thing is better with you on it. The Luke Easter comments had me rolling. Definitely an upgrade on that one! Your '52 binder is fabulous!

are you trying to build this set in person or through ebay?? even set building a low grade 52 set is still amazing!! i would soo do that too. infact i think im going to do a full 52 set and see if it can be done.

@@geezmikey I'm trying to build it any way I can :) I'm about 85 % complete at the moment. I bought a starter set on ebay (around 200 cards) and have been adding here and there at card shows/shops and on ebay. Currently working on ALL of the sets up to 1980. I'm finished with 1954 and 1969 and getting pretty close on everything in the 1950's. . I have a TON of duplicates(around 4000 cards from1952-1980). Let me know if you ever want to help each other out! I need a lot of el-bencho's to fill my sets!! Keep up the great vids and good luck.

Yes! That would be cool ! And show the bangers others got for their collection at good prices. I was able to get a Willy Mays card for $5! Wasn’t in the greatest of shape but it was a Willy Mays ! Tell others people’s stories of cool finds you know?

Congrats! So close. Totally understandable feeling bittersweet. Players like miñoso is getting their flowers so makes sense prices going up. I don’t get those other $50 ones though. Kinda like how a 89 griffey psa 1 goes for higher than a 9. Crazy

yeah that doesnt make sense either, even before the card boom those cards werent even near the $50 range, that just recently happend.

I love it bro!! I think you should stay on KZbin to at least catalog your journey and how long it will take you to complete the binders. Or Atleast till you get to 50% on all binders. Man I now kinda want to build a 52 set and just spend 10 or less for each card.

hey man, its a very slow build, however!!!!!!!! i say you try to build the low number series too! the only card you will have trouble with honestly would be the mays, everything else low grade with nice eye appeal can easily be done for the most part $10sh range, a few cards abit more but majority will be under $10

Hey, great going on getting more of the '52 Topps! Regarding your retiring, are you giving up collecting? I know you're married and may be a little busier than you have been in the past, but I'm thinking you don't have to leave KZbin completely. Just make a video every now and then as the spirit moves you, taking as much time as you need in between episodes. Why leave the community completely? Anyway, it's your decision. All the best to you always, whatever you decide!

no i would never stop collecting. ive been collecting for so long its very hard not to collect, however there will be a time where ill have to walk away from the hobby, since these cards will out live me and i dont have any kids to pass them down too. im going to think real hard on my decision coming towards the end of the year, it just becomes a burden sometimes for me now, for some reason im really busy now.

Don't crack them, Mikey! Well, if that 70% wins out, just check back in a couple of years from now and see how my GeezMikey "CRAZY" Sets are going. These prices are why I am going to skip this set and do the 1952 Bowman, I also think I am going to try something different for the 1954 year as well.

not gonna lie, but i do like watching some of my older videos and see how my collection looked back then, amazing how it changes through out time. ohhh 1952 bowman set is going to look sicko!! cant wait to see that started.
