Very nice '53 Ford Truck, 289, 4 speed top loader transmission. Highway appropriate differential gears, power steering, power front disc brakes, very nicely restored. Ready to enjoy.

The fuel tank in the 53's were never behind the seat and were always under the driver side floor. Why do you have an chevy s10 column in the truck? Where is the fan shroud?

Swindle , it's called American ingenuity bone yard style and hot rodding . Making things work is a big part of the journey. What this crap about a ford in a ford ? I suggest you go get an old ford and put a ford in a ford . I guarantee unless you can afford a new generation ford engine ( $16,000 ,) your going to hear a lot of crap also. The very best F100s have 4 link rear suspension or Corvette style, independent front suspension from orther vehicles, cooling systems , wiring , exhaust, gauges, upholstery and seats are hardly ever FORD . I dare you to purchase a( let's say ) 1953 ford F100 with its 90 HP flathead and drive this one and a half ton on a California freeway. Or any street .

Tail lights were originally round. I hate when they say "original " and don't know what original is.
