1954 Buick 2012 Hot Rod Power Tour "Finished Project"

The boys at Honest Charley Garage picked up this 1954 Buick as an unfinished project car. They've started work on the car to get it ready for Corky Coker to drive on the 2012 Hot Rod Power Tour.

At 3:37....BEAUTY and the BEASTIES. LOL Y'all look proud... and you should. She is BUICKFUL. From where I'm sittin looks like the indent was taken out of the front bumper where the dogmire goes. That's a finishing touch I've always wanted to see. Hope she's doing well on the tour.

Used to have a 54 just like it in about 66, nice driving cars. I always thought the 54's were good looking, the first year of the body's without the fenders sticking out, they were low and mean. Taught my wife to drive in it, she wanted to pull on the steering wheel and yell whoa like with her horse as we headed for a ditch, luckily we got it stopped in time, Sha always called it the mad Buick because of the grill. If i remember the tranny was kind of a weak point in these.
