I rented a lift in a rent a space garage. I positioned an oil change stand under the lower arm ,then chiseled off the ball joint rivets, then lifted the lift to slowly unload the springs, then lowered the lift to compress the spring with the new parts in place...cheaper than paying somebody $100+ in 1979
