1955 Elna 2 Supermatic . Cousin to the GRASSHOPPER

Purchased this non-working Elna 2 Supermatic and with a few tweaks I got it working. sewing on it is an experience! love it. already made a cosmetic tote on it.

"Grasshopper" is an informal name used for the first Elna model ever made, the Elna 1. What you have there is a Supermatic, aka the Elna 2. Not the same. Just because it's green doesn't make it a "grasshopper."
