​@@canadianclassicsIf I'm not mistaken the 1956 Golden Adventurer which was introduced a little later at the beginning of 56 produced 320 HP from the same engine but with a higher compression ratio!!!🤔😊👍

I was 1 years old in 1956, and my parents had a dud '53 Chevrolet that was an ice box in the winter and a no exceleration putz..

That was when they went to 12 volts and for years all Mopars had a very distinctive cranking sound.

GM had 12 volts in 1953 on Cadillac and 12 volts on the rest of the GM line in 1955.
