1956 Ford Ranch Wagon Street Rod

This 1956 Ford Ranch Wagon is one of the latest creations by Alloway's Hot Rod Shop..I'm in the shop just a couple of days before it heads to SEMA 2012 to be displayed in the PPG display there...it has a Art Morrison Chassis..a 427 'cammer' Motor in it...and of course a Steve Holcomb Interior...only the best...this one is Bobby's personal Hot Rod...very cool...check it out!!

Love the vids, keep up the great work. Steve has done several car/trucks for me and it's always over the top. Great people to work with. Steve and Bobby are two of the best in the business. Talked to Steve last week and he said they might be finished with the 57 when I get back next week. Leaving for SEMA Tuesday morming. The 57 will be at the World of Wheels in Chattanooga in Feb. 2013

Didn't know Ford made a 50s Wagon..the 55 Bel-Air is my absolute fave muscle car / hot rod and the Nomads are pretty special as well..and this pretty much looks like a Nomad which is very cool...just one small finishing touch tho...a set of blue dots for the tail lights..always liked the color and the way those looked.....anyways..2 thumbs way up on this Ford Wagon..

Crank windows: So the driver if they find themselves in a pond can escape! It should be mandatory that at least the driver's window have a crank in addition to the power motors. This car is super exceptional.

That Ranch Wagon Ford has one of the most wonderful V8 engines ever made (427 SOHC). Robust and reliable, simple technology. Sad Ford does not have a department to preserve these wonderful engines manufacturing them today as it does with its magnificent Chevrolet Big-Block (427-454).

Owned one in 1981. Drove it to the Safeway grocery store half a mile up the road. Spent $250.00 on groceries. Just so I could see it loaded from the back of the front seat to the tailgate. My future bride thought I was crazy. Looking back now. For that money now I'd have a plastic sac with 5 steaks in it. Sitting next to me on the front seat. We own the new one now. 2011 Ford FAIRLANE SQUIRE/ FLEX. I will let you know if and when I can afford the groceries again. She's laughing. LOL

Big question I know this an old video but my biggest question with the Fairlane and the 50s ford's I know the bel air chevy u can get a 20inch in the rear what's the best solution for a ford mid 50s ford to get a bigger tire and wheel on the rear this will be my first ford I'm going with a Fairlane because I don't see many at car shows thanks if anyone could time in and help me
