Wow! . . . Chrome straight-axle under a '57 Chevy --- nothing ever looked better!

It's one of those fun cars that don't come around very often. It might've been fun to keep it. Drew a lot of attention.

I was fun to own. You may not have noticed I added Sold to the heading. We still have it just waiting for transport. Jeri Drager

Those brackets that you didnt know what the were for were for shock absorbers, don't cut them off! That's the stock rear end off the 57. I looked and looked for the shocks on that girl. Didn't see any in the rear. Did she have rear shocks. I had 18, 57'S. it's nice to know I still remember where every nut and bolt went on those beautiful old classics. I abandoned a 57 handiman special like that one. For the last 46 years I've been kicking myself for that. I lost my sedan delivery too. Both cheeks are severely bruised. As they both should be. How much did you let that one go for?

you should have let it idle while you stood at the back so i could hear the chop of the cam shaft. i love a small block with pop up pistons, 202 valves and a radical cam. especially the 327 cu, in.solid lifter, 365 hp vette engine. they were radical and bad ass. just don't miss a gear, kaboom.
