It’s Thunderbird! I was shocked that you reviewed this car because my grandfather had this one similar but red , your channel is the best about reviewing cars. Also do you prepare new episodes? Maybe something special for Christmas? Let me know

Thank you Foma. I was blessed to review this beautiful classic piece of American history. Wow, you must have loved your grandfather's old T-Bird. I will have a very special episode in the coming days and more in December. Stay tuned and appreciate your support 🙏

BTW, in 1955 the Thunderbird was only offered with the 292 Y block V8, not the 289. The 289 V8 did not come into production until the 1960’s. In 1956, Thunderbird owners could choose either the 292 Y Block or the 312 Y Block. Really enjoyed the video, thanks!

In '55 you could only get the 292 cu.in. engine. The 289 cu.in. didn't come out until the 60's. In '56 you could get the 292 cu.in. or the 312 cu.in. and in '57 you could get a 292 cu.in. (C Code) a 312 cu. In. With a single 4 barrel carb (D Code) a 312 cu.in. with dual 4 barrel carbs (E Code) or a 312 cu.in. with a Single 4 barrel carb and Paxton McCullough supercharger. (F Code). Also, All '55 thru '57 T-Bird with automatic have 3 Speed Ford-o-matic but because it normally starts in 2nd alot of people think it is a 2 speed. A 2 speed didn't come out until 1959.

Thank you so much for the info. I knew that there were many variations but didn't know to this extent. Do you have 1st gen T-Bird yourself?

@@radridesbyehsanshirazi8779 I have a "57 black with a white top and black and white interior. D code 312 automatic. It needs paint but the interior is very good. I'll probably never be able to afford a paint job but it looks pretty good for a driver car. Not a show car at all but it's rust free. I drive it almost every day if it's not raining as I never put the top on. Its almost totally original except for an upgraded radiator. This is my 3rd one. Both of my first 2 needed engine work and I sold them before I ever got the engines running.
