Hey love your videos and great work! I have a fairly good understanding of electronics, but tube TVs I’m quite green with. Are there any books or anything you recommend on understanding the circuitry of a crt tube tv and symptoms etc Thanks

Thanks so much! Antique Radio Forums online has an endless knowledge of television and radio repair. Entire forum on televisions with people who used to work in the industry who diagnose problems all the time. Also there are a lot of vintage repair books on televisions you can find on eBay. I haven’t found really any modern books on tube television repair

Great thank you very much. I’ll check it out, I have lots of reading to do. I have a philco predicta I want to rebuild, but I want to fully understand it and get the theory of operation before blindly replacing caps and resistors. Very cool to see another young guy into this and with great skills

I bought mine in 2020 for $450. I'd say that's a fair price for a cabinet in fair condition and electronically unrestored. I wouldn't pay more than how much I did again.

Is there any chance you can run a filter over your videos to take out the insane high frequencies? I had to stop halfway through because it sounded like a dentist drill in my ears lol
