1959 Chevrolet Corvette Custom Roadster The SEMA Show 2017

A 1959 Chevrolet Corvette I found a The SEMA Show 2017....Ten feet in the the door...First day...I was already in love...And that is saying something...The first generation Corvette is not usually my first choice.... This 1959 Corvette is different...A true roadster....It has been stretched 6 inches so it looks sleek.....It's on bags...So it almost lays on the ground . ..A LS 7 under the hood...With a really cool carbon fiber intake.....Black paint that is a mile deep...All the trim is like a black chrome....The interior is very classy...Yet very cool...And perfect for this build.......The SEMA Show always brings out some awesome Hot Rods and this 1959 Chevrolet Corvette was one of my favorites at The SEMA Show 2017 For sure!!....One very cool Custom Car!! I can tell where he stretched it, he lengthened the front fenders, at the windshield cowl.. Probably so it could be lowered with a modern LS motor and transmission..

having watched your channel for a good long time i know that for a vehicle to make "Scottie's" channel it has to be superior and this is one of my favorites, deserving of your attention. curious, did you ask the guy why the hood shouldn't be closed?

They have to qualify...I didn't....but it is common....They may have had a lock to keep it from realign on what ever hold it up....it could have been....pneumatic and you would break it with the power off......Could have been a clearance issue you have to keep a eye on...Glad you enjoyed it though...

it just reminded me of some show cars back in the day, barris, bailon etc. where you couldn't close the hood because it would smack the carb, or the hood wouldn't be open cause parts were missing :)

I have no idea what that idiot is into...But I wouldn't trust Him...or anything I seen on that show...I believe this one is like a 7 year build?.....He does his stuff in a few weeks.....Parts are cheap....fabrication hours is where you will spend money and results are slow coming...BUT!....That's what makes a car a work of art.....something that you would set in your living room and stare at it...And yet you can get in it and drive to the coast if you want.....Hope in some way this helps...

It's a beautiful custom but like looking at a face with no lines all the character and age has vanished it has 4 wheels and a fancy interior and drivetrain but the body is faceless very bland beauty thank God it's not red which would show of the work better cool roller skate tho
