Interesting to hear is the distinguished, resounding voice of John Charles Daly narrating here, the host-extraordinare of the 'What's ,MyLine' game show series on CBS at the time. Truly a match made in the "heaven of dreams" of the idealistic past decades of the 1950s and 60s. It took me an extended listen to ID his voice box, but once matched, boy was it a smashingly refreshing discovery!

This was what QUALITY was...many of these cars lasted 20 years or more. Many times more comfortable than any modern vehicle

The OHV Cadillac engine used from 1949-1962 really was the most carefully built engine of its time. Especially remarkable considering the quantity they made. Lincoln and Chrysler motors were simply adaptations of those made for lesser cars...and trucks. Don't get me started on the deficiencies of the Rolls-Royce engines.

I've always wondered why the Fleetwood had to have the same greenhouse as the least expensive Cadillac 62 sedan. You would think they would have given it a more distinctive and perhaps more private looking design.

Well, they did just that starting in 1961 when the Fleetwoods received their own exclusive formal roofline.
