my homeboys dad gave me a 1960 dodge pioneer. he and I built a few hot rods. He was stuck in a wheelchair after being shot in the back, so he would explain to me how the parts looked and how to remove them, he was brains and I was the hands. we built an El camino, a sixties style cutlass, a thunderbird and a few others. His sons both had lowriders, with compitition hydrolics, and custom paint jobs. One day he asked me if I wanted a lowrider like theirs, or a hot rod/ muscle car, I wanted to say lowrider but I could tell he wanted me to say hot rod for our next project. The next day we picked up the 1960 dodge pioneer. I got it home and pulled the engine got the seats done in red and cream, had the bumper in trim re chromed and before I could put it all back together I was arrested. they had the car scrapped for cash and never got to finish it. And I named the car "Christine" like the movie. Oh, And by the way, "Christine" was 1958 Plymouth Fury and was NOT a 57 Chevy. I've gotten in a million arguments with people who insist Christine was a 57 Chevy. sorry for the long comment, I just got a little nostalgic.

Christine was not a true 1958 Plymouth Fury as it was red not white with gold trim. It was really a Belvedere which was available in a number of colors.
