funny to think that we dont use the basses AT ALL as they originally intended when they first made the electric ones....lol "the string guard" and finger rest...PLEASE....took em an extremely long time to stop adding those things too(i think i saw some mid 70s models with the finger-rest still present)

They sure look cool though! And the rubber mutes they put under the bridge cover gives the tone some thump!
